Game Design: Meme Wars, 2007

Initially conceived, and then directed team production of Meme Wars, an unreleased game experimentally simulating the dynamics of how ideas spread through social networks. Inspired by aspects of Steve Jackson’s Illuminati card game as well as Richard Dawkin's conception of memes, the multi-player Java-based prototype pits players against one another in a territorial competition of political intrigue.
